Happy Australia Day to you too. I imagined you doing something traditionally Australian, like a barbie on the beach. Do you guys do that or is that just our British perception of Australians?

We have barbie all the time, but not on the beach in Melbourne (where I spent more of my years) because it was too cold. But in Sydney and I’m sure other Northern parts of Australia, yea people do have barbie on the beach. I’ve never been to one on the beach though. I guess I’m not really a beach person. But we often have bbq on our backyard! Yesterday was working day for me (though public holiday for everyone else) and the company threw bbq lunch for us. AND the Lamington! ;)

It’s good, but I could only eat half because it was gigantic! And no, I don’t eat vegemite. I tasted it once and it was like the devil’s food! Argh!
