A Better Place, by Mee

Something did! I changed the theme AND my blog title! If you forget, my blog title used to be Books of Mee, but after some consideration, I’ve decided to change it to something more mee (sorry, couldn’t resist :).

I would change my header image every once in a while. Figured my thousands of pictures sitting on my laptop needs a better treatment. A bit of limelight won’t hurt. You know, a couple of weeks of fame is all they’re gonna get.

There might be a few more things I want to change, some cleaning here and there. But overall, I’m quite happy with what I have right now. Thanks to some elves who gave me encouragements. You know who you are! :D

This is going to need some getting used to. But I’m definitely loving it. =)

Oh, and that header picture up there is GOR-geous.Very Japanese-y.

  I know! I feel a bit weird seeing the new one and was rather sad to say goodbye to my old theme. Pretty as it is, I thought it’s time to move on.
  
  I’m gonna be changing the header once in a while. Hope I can always find pictures as gorgeous as the pink birdie ;). You’re very spot-on. I took the picture from some Japanese art gallery (and the one on this post too).

  No, I didn’t draw that. It’s a photo I took from some Japanese art gallery here in Sydney. Everything was soooo pretty. Like a tiny candyland. They used a lot of edible stuff.

Mee, it looks gorgeous. But the new name may take some getting used to. ; )

I have such a hard time changing much on my blog. I’ve tried, but I always revert back to my original look. Not that it’s so great, but I am not that good with change.

  Yea it took me a while to decide on the new name. But it’s more specific and it goes well with my url, so I finally decided to take the plunge :)

It looks great, but I have had a lot of trouble getting to see your new look. Your site keeps crashing and taking ages to load. This is my 4th attempt to leave a comment. It could just be me, but it might be a good idea to have a look at your load times.

I am in an old version of Internet Explorer, so that could be contributing to the problems. Hopefully it will sort itself out soon. Good luck!

  Jackie– Oh no, that’s bad news! After your comment, I went back to test my site on IE and fixed one little thing. Then I tried to render my site on the older versions of IE (with a free tool online). Apart from 5.5 they looked fine though (with 5.5 the layout was a bit off, but it didn’t crash or anything), so I really hope it was just one of those times. Please let me know again if it’s still causing problem for you in the future. Thanks for letting me know.
