09.Jan.2010 Bloggiesta Ole!
Bloggiesta is an event hosted by Natasha@Maw Books which is basically for you to spare some time (Friday-Sunday) to do whatever you want for your blog, things you put off doing, housekeeping, normal posts, any blogging activities. There are many useful suggestions to do on the event post if you want to check out. This is the second Bloggiesta and I missed the first one, though I did check out some of the tips. They’re great! Also, the buttons are so cute, I would’ve joined just so I can post them here ;)
I didn’t know if I could join before, but hubby is gone for a couple of weeks so I can indulge in blogging bliss this weekend. I’ve mentioned before that I work 5 days a week 10 hours a day plus 3 hours commuting, so I have very very little extra time on weekdays. I do most of my blogging on the weekend, though I can usually steal some time to read other book blogs on weekdays (commenting is more tricky).
I’m going to update my list here as I go along:
- Wrap-up The Spice of Life Challenge
- Wrap-up Orbis Terrarum Challenge
- Finish 2009 in Review
- Write plan for 2010
- Add Books Read page for 2010
- New challenge post for Book Awards IV
- New challenge post for Aussie Author Challenge
- New challenge post for Global Reading Challenge
- New challenge post for World Religion Challenge
- New challenge post for Read the Book See the Movie
- Finish migrating all my book reviews from old site to this one
- Add flags and maps to Reading the World
- Write review for Waiting by Ha Jin
- Write review for Bone Vol 8 and 9
- Write review for the 3 short stories I read from My Mistress’s Sparrow is Dead
- Write mini-review for Bright Star the movie, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Muppet Christmas Carol, and Gangs of New York
- Write Mailbox Monday post for 2 books that arrived in November 2009
- Do the Bloggiesta mini-challenges
- Write Hello Japan! post on Japanese music
- Make Authors list page
- Write the Honest Scrap meme
- Post some Xmas and New Year pictures
- Write post for rainy day (negative review?)
Mmm.. maybe I should do this todo list more often. It makes it very clear to me what and how much there is to do.
Anyway, since there are a million things I want to do, I better start doing them rather than writing this post! :)
