Mailbox Monday – 2 Super Exciting Books!

The White Woman on the Green BicycleThree Cups of Tea

The White Woman on the Green Cicycle by Monique Roffey.
An unforgettable love story, brimming with passion and politics, set over fifty years in Trinidad.

Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson.
‘Here we drink three cups of tea to do business: the first you are a stranger, the second you become a friend, and the third you join our family, and for our family we are prepared to do anything – even die.’

Two new released books from Penguin Australia! Both of which I was very excited to receive in my mailbox!

The White Woman on the Green Bicycle because of the setting in Trinidad. I never knew any book that is set in Trinidad. And isn’t the cover just delicious?

Three Cups of Tea because I’ve heard numerous rave reviews about it, but I just haven’t got a chance to read it. When asked by @PenguinBooksAus which of their new releases we were interested to read and why, I replied Three Cups of Tea, because nothing’s more uplifting than the story of a modern day hero — for which I won the book! Woohoo! I’m quite surprised that it’s just released in Australia, because I feel like I’ve heard about the book for years. Anyway, great timing for me!
