I didn't know he had columns. I know, I also don't necessarily agree with everything he says, but I'm interested in his ideas. (Did I just repeat your whole sentence?)

I want to read this - I've enjoyed his other two books, as well as his columns, a lot. I don't necessarily agree with everything he says, but I always am interested in his ideas.

Kailana: You should. Some people say that his first 2 books are better though. I don't know because I haven't read them. Just pick the book with topic that you're more interested in.

Suko: Thanks Suko. There are definitely a lot of factors that contribute to someone's success. I guess what he was trying to analyze was those factors that you sometimes don't notice much, that there's more than doing it "all by yourself".

Mee, I am impressed with your in-depth review. What I find so fascinating is Gladwell's idea that hard work alone does not bring success, that there's definitely a measure of luck involved, too (like in which month you were born). Why does one person succeed while another does not? You may not agree with all his ideas or theories, but surely success depends on many factors, which Gladwell's book illustrates (which I have not read but read about).

I really should read a book by him. I have never read any of them! I look at them at the bookstore and the library all the time, but they never seem to get passed there!
