tanabata: No no the size by all means did not bother me, just interested me. Actually I saw a lot of Japanese novels have similar size when I went to one Japanese cafe. Shelves and shelves full of small size books, just like that Murakami’s one. Perhaps a tiny bit bigger, can’t really remember. About JLPT, I haven’t been studying since the test in November and I’m already worried I’m gonna lose everything bit by bit :(

I’m glad the book finally arrived! It really is tiny, isn’t it? I felt kind of bad sending such a small book, but I hope you enjoy it.
Congratulations on passing the third level of the JLPT! A few years ago I got level 3 but I doubt I could do it again right now since I’ve forgotten most of the kanji I knew. I’ve heard the gap between level 3 and level 2 is huge, but ganbatte! :)

Congrats on getting your language certificate! I almost took Japanese in college, and then chickened out at the last minute. Maybe someday I’ll give it a try again. :)
