Like you, I was just bored out of my mind. The whole thing seemed so pointless to me. I couldn't even begin to relate to the characters or understand their motivations. I have nothing against books or movies portraying sexuality, but the sex scenes in the movie were just so...cold. And boring. I haven’t read the book, but I’ve watched the movie, and it left me with no desire to pick it up. Like you, I was just bored out of my mind. The whole thing seemed so pointless to me.
