So I’m most probably not going to post anything, since I’m going to secluded islands and all. If you sometimes see my site loses its colors and pictures, that means it’s been hacked. The hacker comes every week or so. The content is all there, but the css display is tempered with. Too bad, but I haven’t got the solution for it, having cleaned everything. Anyway, I plan to read too during the trip, so happy reading!
Yes, happened again. That it’s only the css and images affected probably means the hacker doesn’t have access to the machine per se (and can’t change the database, for example), but only to part of it.
I notice you have FTP access to your site. Maybe he knows the password, or maybe your wp-content directory is writable for other users on that machine? The permissions could have been changed to make installing wordpress plugins easier, or to change the theme from the web interface.
