All: I used to read fast before I entered University. Then there was a period of time when I read slow, around a month or more per book. But recently I’ve been reading a lot more, hence faster too. So a few weeks for one book feels slow now :)

Ann: Yea you do make me feel better lol. But so far I’m sure that I will finish the book. Maybe in 2 weeks from now.

I read E.M. Forster’s, and it took me more than a month…but it’s the process of exploration, of meditation that is rewarding.

Hello,

I’ve read WH at least three times in my life, of course in translated version, and I would have never thought that it’s so hard to read on the original way. It sounds a bit strange for me now.

I wouldn’t worry about the speed at which you’re reading the book. As long as you’re enjoying it. That’s the main thing. I just finished Look Homeward, Angel by Thomas Wolfe and it took me nearly a month to finish. Little by little, but I got through it and it was worth it.

It is a standing joke that I, an English University Lecturer have never been able to read ‘Wuthering Heights’. Don’t feel too bad if you can’t make it either!
