Okay I found a new trend that people think a game company is a place where things are colourful and game stock unlimited. Almost like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, just change the chocolate to games: river with floating free games, games grow on trees, games scattered on the ground.
What’s with people asking me for free games?
Even if they’re the games that I make, do they think I would go around giving them away like uncontrollable charity person?
Let me put you into perspective. So we’re working our ass off for years, sacrifice a whole lot of ourselves, not to mention a HUGE amount of money, many many people’s sweat and blood, for ONE game, then at the end you put zero value to it?
I guess what most people don’t realize is that it takes a crazy amount of time and effort just to publish one game, which, may not even be a good game. There’s no magic factory that can produce superb game instantly in a few months. Unfortunately.
