I cannot believe someone actually spend their time to make a collection of toilet images in games.
After intensive search of a person with the same name since the day I could think by myself and realize I have a weird name, I finally found him.
So I present you… my- possible-twin-to-be. Voila!
It took me only 6 months since I started my time as an employee to squeeze my brain about making more money. Doesn’t sound elegant? Well right now my saving creeping up slower than a sleepy snail, and I struggle to save even half of my salary, which the amount could make my future children cry. With this kind of situation, I would die an old unhappy woman before I could do the million things I dream to do. So I thought, there just got to be a way! Any way! One way! Just something!
So look at what I have under my table now (that’s where I put some books in reading): Personal Finance for Dummies, Value Investing for Dummies, and Small Business for Dummies. Why dummies? Yeah.. because I am. I’m completely blind about these things. But there should be no such thing as too late or too difficult for me! Yay! ;)
I’ll keep you updated about my effort to be rich.
Finished reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. Started reading The Time Traveler’s Wife.
I love books. With the same reasons that I love games. ;)
Yah, I know I haven’t paid too much attention to this blog these days. We’ve got a milestone, althought it’s been pushed back twice, and everybody is going craaazzyy!
Tell me, does it always happen everywhere that programmers come first and go back last than artists? These few weeks it usually has passed 1.5 hours from the end of business hour and NONE of the programmers has moved their butt, while the artists cubicles are pretty much empty, only left some that play games.
Interesting.
By the way, in spite of the scary and worrying discussions about working hours in gaming industry, my place can be considered very very good. Nobody never asks us to stay late.
So why we do? Because our life is empty and miserable when we don’t make games.
Hehe.
The enemy boss is not moving! It should! It’s scheduled to attack if I move at the visual range of 3.0f. My friend is on his side, why doesn’t he do a slam jump? Well, now he’s doing it too often, he looks kinda jumpy and silly, rather than cool and scary. Oh, the bombs it spits out are too far away. I should randomize the XZ target about 2.0f less and height 1.0f less. The gravity should be lower too so it won’t move too quick. Interestingly here gravity of 9.8f is far too slow. 11.0f is about right. Oh no, bug! The stupid soldiers stuck inside the ramp. They should be spawned on top of it, not under! I’ll ask somebody to move the spawn point later. Ow the bombs! The timeout is screwed up I think. The boss should spit out 4 bombs in the range of 1.1f secs, and not 3. I should make the timeout gap a bit less than 1/4 of the main timeout, just in case the main one runs out before the gap.
Okay… It’s morning I guess…
Time to go to work…
See, that is why it is so important for you to do different things other than game programming before you go to sleep.
Clear your brain.
Reset the atmosphere.
Ditch the geeky vibe.
Have normal dream. Something without numbers, physics, and logic play.
I present you: The Sexiest Indie Gamer of All Time
(spoiler below. Highlight/select the paragraph to reveal my humble opinion.)
He’s alright. But I was expecting a chick.
